Whedonverse Auctions for KNTR!

Written by Denise Gary

A Whedonverse cornucopia of Dr. Horrible, Joss Whedon, Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Felicia Day, and more awaits you at the Fandom Charities eBay store.  Three of these four great auctions are to support Kids Need to Read.  You may remember the super-fantastic Dr. Horrible/The Guild 2nd Annual Halloween Charity Screening last October, which was presented by Whedonopolis and benefited Kids Need to Read.  (This was the fateful event where the infamous Unshaved Poodle began following us . . .  theoretically for our Christie Cookies!) The awesome folks at Whedonopolis are supporting Kids Need to Read once again with these auctions of their rare, signed screening posters, as well as a copy of PJ Haarsma’s novel, The Softwire: Wormhole Pirates on Orbis 3, signed by PJ Haarsma, Nathan Fillion, and Alan Tudyk.

Tis the Season

Once Upon a Time… It was a dark and stormy night… This is the tale that was told to me…: Throughout history, winter has been a season rich in the tradition of storytelling, serving as a captivating blend of entertainment and education for individuals of all ages. This enduring legacy is exemplified in Beowulf, one of the oldest recorded stories, where the narrative opens with a compelling command, “Listen! we have heard of the might of the kings,”. No matter the opening line, the timeless power and importance of story and literacy is in its ability to connect generations and communities through the ages.
