Kids Need to Read invites you to participate in our Fifteenth Kids Need to Read Charity Auction. This week we proudly present a stunning necklace and earrings set inspired by PJ Haarsma’s book, The Softwire: Virus on Orbis 1. This mesmerizing set was made especially for Kids Need to Read by Eryn Merwart of Take to the Sky – Jewelry and Accessories. You can see more of Eryn’s amazing work at www.taketothesky.ca. This beautiful jewelry is unique and will not be available for sale.

From the artist: “This necklace, measuring 18 inches, is made of sterling silver chain, findings and beads, Swarovski crystal beads and Paua shell beads. The earrings are also sterling silver and Paua shell.”

Bidding begins immediately and opens at $30.00. Bids will be accepted until Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 10pm EST/ 9pm CT/ 7pm PT.

Click on “Donate Now” then click on “Make a Donation”. The necklace and earrings will be mailed to you as soon as your donation is received.

Kids Need to Read, the charity project founded by author PJ Haarsma and actor Nathan Fillion, raises money to purchase books for under funded schools and libraries. We are enormously grateful to Eryn Merwart for making this beautiful set to benefit Kids Need to Read!
