We need your help and it will only take mere moments! Kids Need to Read has been nominated in Chase Community Giving’s annual $5 million giveaway. That’s right, $5 million buckaroos will be split between the 196 charities who receive the most votes between September 6 – 19, 2012. KNTR could win from $10,000 to $250,000!

You can vote for Kids Need to Read twice:

  • Everyone gets to vote on Facebook. WARNING: Voting on Facebook requires allowing the Facebook app login, so if this is an issue for you, please do not vote here.
  • If you are a Chase online customer, you can also vote at chase.com/ChaseGiving.

In addition to the $5 million possibility, Kids Need to Read accepted its nomination before August 30th, which means we will share equally in $2.5 million. We have won something already! Yay for KNTR!

Here is the breakdown of the possible $5 million winnings:

  • $250,000 to the Charity receiving the most votes
  • $100,000 to the next ten runner’s-up Charity
  • $50,000 to the next thirty-five runner’s–up Charity
  • $20,000 to the next fifty runner’s-up Charities
  • $10,000 to the next one-hundred runner’s-up Charities

Remember, cast your votes before September 19, 2012, so we can expand our literacy programs for impoverished children and adolescents!
