The premiere Steampunk convention, Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention (WWWC) makes it’s fifth triumphant return to Old Tucson Studios from Friday, March 4th through Sunday, March 6th, 2016. For the fourth year running, WWWC has invited Kids Need to Read to benefit from a variety of events and fundraising efforts!

You will find our booth inside the vendor barn  selling our well-known literacy treasures, including fine art prints and danger signs. Located at Old Tucson Studios, this famous movie studio and amusement park was built in 1939 and will be transformed into the world’s only western-styled steampunk park. Tickets start at $45.00 for one-day, with many more options available.  Live music performed by local band Dry River Yacht Club and the infamous Steam Powered Giraffe kick off the nightlife on Friday night.

The whole weekend will include concerts, street performers, special events, panels, workshops, rides, games, and much more for your enjoyment! But don’t forget to visit the saloon and talk to the folks at the Oddland Traveling Carnival about the raffle benefiting Kids Need to Read. They have collected many unique oddities, baubles and wares for you to take home. Then you can journey around the world with your passport and luggage tag all benefiting Kids Need to Read!

You can learn all about these fundraisers and much more by visiting WILDWESTCON.COM and downloading their newest convention program.
