Kids Book Bonanza!

Graphic novels, manga and comic books are popular with all ages, all over the world. Kids Need to Read Charity Auctions presents an awesome array of 11 different titles, including books to satisfy every reading level from toddler to teen! As an added dividend, two of the books include authors’ signatures. This is an outstanding package for collectors and readers alike! 

  • Fool’s Gold Vol. 1, signed by author and illustrator Amy Reeder Hadley. This is the first of three issues in Hadley’s popular English-language manga series about the joys and jerks of high school. Teens will be able to relate to the characters, situations and humor! Donated by Amy Reeder Hadley.
  • There’s Nothing to Do on Mars, signed by award-winning author Chris Gall. A picture book for ages 4–8 filled with Gall’s brilliant illustrations. Yes, even when humans travel to other planets, there will be kids whining, “I’m bored,” and parents who deal with it by saying, “Go outside and play!” Donated by Phoenix Book Company. 
  • A full set of the popular Actionopolis series of chapter books by some of the best-known writers and artists in film, gaming, comics and book publishing. These excellent graphic-novel inspired books are aimed at grades 5 through 8 and are especially attractive to the reluctant reader! The package includes all 7 titles released to date: The Forest King: Woodlark’s Shadow, What I did on my Hypergalactic Interstellar Summer Vacation, Heir of Fire: Gila Flats, Spirit of the Samurai: Of Swords and Rings, Blackfoot Braves Society: Spirit Totems, The Anubis Tapestry: Between Twilights, and Zombie Monkey Monster Jamboree.   • Two powerhouse story collections from Komikwerks! First up is Thrills and Chills, a collection of 21 short comic stories featuring Eisner Award Winner Keith Giffen, Justice League Unlimited producer & writer Dwayne McDuffie, Batman artist Tom Mandrake and many more! The second anthology is Nuts and Bolts, containing 14 stories of action, suspense, comedy and mayhem by thirteen talented writers including comics legend Keith Giffen. Donated by Komikwerks.
