In Memoriam: Dylan Hockley

In memory of Dylan Hockley, victim of Sandy Hook Elementary School. He loved reading.” —donation from Connecticut to Kids Need to Read Peace Packs.

Dylan was six years old. This thoughtful donation will be used to encourage peaceful conflict resolution with perhaps the most influential ambassadors of all: books. Through the compelling messages of peace, unity, and solidarity, Kids Need to Read aspires to provide nonviolent alternatives to as many schools and literacy programs as possible. We encourage everyone to honor the memories of the fallen through positive, proactive actions.

All of us at Kids Need to Read extend our deepest sympathies and respect to the families of the victims in Newtown, CT, and continue to work toward a peaceful future for all children.
