If Curiosity Killed The Cat, Perhaps Generosity Brought It Back!

Marissa Baker runs a business close to The Kids Need to Read Foundation’s heart.  Her company, Luna Cat Books, manufactures personalized adventure books for children.  In addition to inserting a child’s name into a story, Luna Cat Books also feature special illustrations that allow children to see “themselves” in a book!

Luna Cat Books are sure-fire hits with children, but their story runs deeper than mere entertainment.  Marissa started her company in order to foster a love of reading in children as early as possible in life.  To that end, Marissa has been a strong supporter of Kids Need to Read in the past, and she’s continuing that trend even now.  During July 2009, every personalized Luna Cat Book purchased will result in a $3 donation to KNTR!  That could add up quickly and result in many more books making their way to kids who need them!

If there’s a child in your life who would enjoy a book where they get to be the star, consider introducing them to a Luna Cat Book.  The child and Kids Need to Read will thank you for it!
