Event: Kids Need to Read Day at Hero Comics

Written by Denise Gary

Hero Comics is throwing a party for Kids Need to Read! Stop by to peruse comics and have sketches made by many of the valley’s most talented artists, all of whom are donating their time and talent to benefit KNTR. Sketches will be made for a $5.00 donation each, with all proceeds benefiting Kids Need to Read. We will be there to hand out KNTR backpacks to the kids (sponsored by Bookmans), Highlights magazines to the youngsters (sponsored by Highlights for Children, Inc.), and books to the teens. Meet superheroes Captain America and Wonder Woman! Come on by, have fun, and please thank our friends at Hero Comics and all of the generous artists who are supporting Kids Need to Read! We want them to know how much we appreciate each and every one of them.
