Be a Hero in Your Own Way … in This Shirt!

Here’s your chance to own a SUPER memento from the newest addition to the Whedonverse, the outrageously original Doctor Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.  The Kids Need to Read Foundation auctions presents an official Captain Hammer T-shirt, signed by the highly adaptable Nathan Fillion, who portrays the not-so-heroic superhero in all his cheesy glory.  (As Joss said, “Shatner, your time is done!”)  The shirt is black, size XL, and has Nathan’s signature in the yellow Captain Hammer logo.

Nathan graciously signed our shirt while appearing alongside author PJ Haarsma in support of The Kids Need to Read Foundation during San Diego Comic-Con in July.  Our thanks go to the KNTR officer who obtained Nathan’s signature and donated this super item to The Kids Need to Read Foundation.

Don’t waste time Bad Horse-ing around!  Go to http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110287831200 to place your bid on this highly collectible tee!  Bidding opens at $50.00 and will continue until September 13, 2008.

Money raised from these auctions is used to purchase books for under-funded schools and libraries, as well as for organizations that provide books to children.
