Kaz and Hels’ Holiday Spectacular Video

Holiday Video

A collaborative video, dedicated to a wonderful group of friends & celebrating what can be achieved when a group of like-minded people get together: KNTR!

A Ninja’s Night Before Christmas
a jackwabbit production

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the Rings,
Not a Ninja was sleeping, except maybe those down under things.
The computers were waiting on their desks here and there,
In the hopes that the Spectacular soon would be aired.

The Ninjas were settled all snug in their chairs,
Chewing their nails ‘til their fingers were bare.
And MALi in her goatee and I in my ears,
Had just come in from our work for a handful of cheer.

When out on The Softwire there arose such a clatter,
We fell out of our chairs to see what was the matter!
Away to our monitors we flew like fleet hounds,
Clicked open our browsers and turned up the sound.

The comments on the screen from the new-posted link
Gave the brilliance of humor to the world where we think.
When what to our wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature MALi, and palm trees so dear!

Then a cow came our way, and it was a spaz!
So we knew in a moment it must be Hels and KAZ!
More rapid than blinking came more without thinking.
And we laughed and we snorted and we weren’t even drinking!

Now parties! Now opera! Now kicking and singing!
On Orbis! On Captain! On courage and niggling!
To the top of the world! To the top of them all!
Now on with you! Upward! Forward! Don’t fall!

As dry leaves that before a wild firestorm blaze,
We laughed and we cried and we grew a bit dazed.
And up to the cosmos the cow soon did fly;
It went Beyond The Sea, and I nearly died.

And then, like some lightning, we heard a loud rap.
Complete with screens and effects that made us all clap.
As we attempted to clear our heads of the sound,
MizB and MALi went round and round!

Then the Master appeared, with a man all in black.
And nothing prepared us for the next sneak attack.
For the big man himself spoke to us all,
And thanked us, each one, for answering his call.

His eyes – how they twinkled! His dimples – so merry!
His voice was like ice cream, all covered in cherries.
He brought holiday tidings to all in the Nation.
And even showed us his past, with or-gan-eyes-a-shun.

Yes, he spoke to his fans and it sure made us glad.
His hair was perfection, and his chair was all plaid!
It spoke to him some, all dripping with snark,
And we all passed right out, like we were on narqs!

But we soon recovered, and found our man gone.
And once again, our company was a song.
But it wasn’t just words that lightened our day.
It was Penguin and Kethra and Eryn and KK.

ChasingLyfe, FollowMal, MizB, Debb and dear Hels.
Ncb, wabbit, Treacle, Marisa and ellesbelles.
It was Kelly and KoF and MALi and Sky.
BarbaraMSD, too, with KAZ and lemonpiefirefly.

Nathan played his role in this little art,
And no one will forget RW’s part.
That just leaves our PJ, with one thing to say:
Merry Christmas to all, KNTR leads the way.

Tis the Season

Once Upon a Time… It was a dark and stormy night… This is the tale that was told to me…: Throughout history, winter has been a season rich in the tradition of storytelling, serving as a captivating blend of entertainment and education for individuals of all ages. This enduring legacy is exemplified in Beowulf, one of the oldest recorded stories, where the narrative opens with a compelling command, “Listen! we have heard of the might of the kings,”. No matter the opening line, the timeless power and importance of story and literacy is in its ability to connect generations and communities through the ages.
