The Walmart Foundation Community Grants funds were awarded to stock The Page Coach with books. The Page Coach is KNTR’s mobile conveyor of literary treasure to children living in low socioeconomic neighborhoods of the Mesa/Phoenix metropolitan area and beyond.

Kids Need to Read utilizes The Page Coach to connect children with books through various organizations, including Boys & Girls Clubs, transitional homes, recreation centers, libraries, schools, and special events. It is a delight to share in the happiness of each child when they receive a book from KNTR and The Page Coach. Many share their love of books and reading with us; others simply smile, sometimes offering a few words of gratitude

The Walmart Foundation’s Community Grants program creates opportunities for people to improve their lives. They strive to make a positive impact by providing thousands of grants to local organizations that can assist in their mission to improve one community at a time.

Thank you, Walmart Supercenter Southern/Superstition Springs, Walmart Supercenter Falcon Gateway, and Walmart Foundation Community Grants!
