California Browncoats Announce Comic-Con 2008 Fundraiser Total

Kids Need to Read received the following letter from the California Browncoats:

Good Morning!

We are very pleased to announce the final total for our Comic-Con 2008 fundraiser on behalf of Kids Need to Read.

After totaling the exclusive comic sales, donations, sponsorships, and eBay sales we are proud to be donating:

$10, 565.43

We are very happy to be helping KNTR fulfill their mission of getting books into the hands of libraries and institutions in need.

We did not sell all the comics, but we will continue to do so online and at future conventions.  The cost of the comics has been covered, so 100% of all future sales will be donated to KNTR as they are sold.

Thank you for being a part of another successful Comic-Con!

Arielle, James, Kim and Lynn
California Browncoats Board of Directors

All of us at Kids Need to Read would like to thank the California Browncoats, the sponsors who provided the funds, and Dark Horse Comics for their support and generosity.
