Many individuals have contributed to The Kids Need to Read Foundation’s 2010 Wall Calendar. Bringing in sponsors was an enormous part of making this project a success.
We have had so many great people and organizations support the calendar. Dawn Russo (our Golden Goddess), the Arizona Browncoats, and the Austin Browncoats have all been previously recognized as sponsors. The KNTR HIKRZ also contributed toward raising money for the calendar through their spring hike-a-thon.
Additionally, we would like to recognize four individuals whose contributions have been essential in the completion of this beautiful project. Volunteers are vital to KNTR’s performance in all things, and the foundation would like to extend their warmest thanks to Don and Freda Howard, Miss von Goetz and Heidi Berthiaume.
Volunteer Dawn Russo brought Kids Need to Read to the attention of Life Alert Headquarters’ employees, Life Alert New York Sales Office, Life Alert Florida Sales Office, Life Alert California Sales Office, and US Toner Inc. These businesses were generous enough to be sponsors for our 2010 calendar! Dawn brought in a total of six sponsors for the calendar. Way to go, Dawn!
Please join Kids Need to Read in showing our thanks to everyone who contributed to the calendar!
The Kids Need to Read Foundation 2010 Wall Calendars premiered at Dragon*Con, September 4–7, 2009, in Atlanta, Georgia. Now that the convention is over, the calendars are being sold in the KNTR eBay store. We hope that you will enjoy the literacy-inspiring photographs and author anecdotes featured in the calendar, while knowing that your purchase will put books into the hands of kids who need them.
