Eighth Kids Need to Read Charity Auction: Mal’s “Package”

Eighth Kids Need to Read Charity Auction: Mal’s Package

The Kids Need to Read MySpace page invites you to participate in their Eighth Kids Need to Read Charity Auction. This week we proudly present Mal’s ‘Package,’ a quirky donation from Kids Need to Read volunteer Spacegirl32.

Mal’s ‘Package’ is an unopened Malcolm Reynolds action figure package signed especially for Kids Need to Read by The Captain himself, Nathan Fillion. The signature quote is

“KEEP FLYIN’
Nathan Fillion”

It should be noted that placement of said signature (enlarged in the photo above) is curiously accented by the curl of Fillion’s spectacular F.

The auction is currently running and all bidding ends on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 10:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM PT.

This auction is being conducted by the Ninjas of NathanNation; however, funds are sent directly to Kids Need to Read by the winner. 100% of the money raised will be used to buy books for children. Be sure to watch for many more exciting auctions in the upcoming weeks.

For more information, or to bid, please visit the Kids Need To Read MySpace blog.
