Third Kids Need to Read Charity Auction: HERO Necklace

The Kids Need to Read MySpace page invites you to participate in their Third Kids Need to Read Charity Auction.

This week they are offering this unique necklace, inspired by Martin Firrell’s public art project HERO, featuring Nathan Fillion. The Hero necklace features a handmade pendant made from polymer clay, accented with a sodalite gemstone bead, sterling silver, and high-fired Greek ceramic beads dipped in fine silver. It hangs from a premium Greek leather cord (approximately 18″ long) and is finished with sterling silver cord ends and clasp. This necklace will not be available for sale.

The auction is currently running and all bidding ends on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 10:00 PM ET / 7:00 PM PT.

This auction is being conducted by the Ninjas of NathanNation; however, funds are sent directly to Kids Need to Read by the winner. 100% of the money raised will be used to buy books for children. Be sure to watch for many more exciting auctions in the upcoming weeks.
