The holiday season has officially begun here at Kids Need to Read! Once again, our friends at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers at Chandler Fashion Mall and Dana Park Village Square, as well as a new store to our family, Barnes & Noble Metro Center, are hard at work with their Kids Need to Read Holiday Book Drives. Now through the end of December, you can stop by any of the three locations and purchase a book to donate to Kids Need to Read. With the additional participating Metro Center location, we know this year is going to be bigger and better than ever! Over the last three years, the Chandler and Dana Park stores have collected 9,796 books valued at $55,000! These gifts enable Kids Need to Read to serve a very large number of schools, libraries, and children’s literacy programs on our waiting list, as well as in the coming year.
Kids Need to Read is grateful to everyone who has taken part in this important yearly book drive. We look forward to seeing what this year has in store for us!
