Rock Out with Wil Wheaton, Felicia Day, Aaron Douglas, James Owen and John Scalzi!

Kids Need to Read had an amazing time at Phoenix Comicon 2010. We have many fond memories of new friends, old friends, and our first annual Kids Need to Read Geek Prom, sponsored by Bookmans. What a night! Another fun-filled event at the convention was Friday night’s Celebrity Rock Band with Wil Wheaton. There was some serious rocking out that night! Phoenix Comicon was kind enough to donate the Rock Band wireless guitars that were used at Wil Wheaton’s Celebrity Rock Band event and at the Geek Prom to Kids Need to Read. Owning a Rock Band guitar that was played by Wil is cool enough, but we knew we could do better. So, we asked a few more of the stars who were in attendance at the Geek Prom to sign them as well. Our guitars are signed by author James Owen (The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica), Felicia Day (The Guild, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog), Aaron Douglas (Battlestar Galactica), John Scalzi (Creative Consultant, Stargate Universe), and of course, Wil Wheaton himself.

So, get your bids in, strap this bad boy on, rock out, and help Kids Need to Read endeavor to put an end to childhood illiteracy!

NOTE: This auction is for one guitar licensed for an X-Box 360 and is not in the original box.
