Be the First to Read The Softwire: Betrayal on Orbis 2!

The Fourteenth Kids Need to Read Charity Auction offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! It’s your chance to own a signed advance reading copy of PJ Haarsma’s second book in his science fiction series, The Softwire: Betrayal on Orbis 2. This much-anticipated book will not be available for purchase ANYWHERE until late March 2008.

Says the author, “I’m so excited to be able to share an advance reading copy (ARC) of my second book, The Softwire: Betrayal on Orbis 2, as well as the newest OIO card in our series. This is a special auction as you will be one of the first people to read my new book and I know you’re going to love this new card, titled Ingression.”

In interviews, Mr. Haarsma has disclosed that in Betrayal, the main character JT learns some details about his past that simply don’t make sense to him. “We will also be forced to say goodbye to someone very close to JT,” the author revealed.

Bidding begins immediately, and opens at $50.00. Please note: Due to the uniqueness and desirability of this item, we are extending the auction length – bids will be accepted until Saturday, December 15th at 10pm EST/ 9pm CT/ 7pm PT.

Place your bids now in the comments section of this blog. Bids must be placed here to be considered. The winner will be notified by PM and will have 5 days to donate the high bid directly to the Kids Need to Read website at http://www.kidsneedtoread.org (or you can click on “KIDSNEEDTOREAD.ORG HOME” at the top of this page). Tis the Season
